Sorption is an improved version of reagent purification. The main difference between these two options is the fact that the reagent method can not provide the maximum results. This can be explained by the fact that in one reactor it is impossible to create suitable conditions for the conversion of the cations of all metals into hydroxides.

ADVANTAGES OF SORPTION

Sorption purification of waste water also involves the conversion of metal cations to hydroxides. The difference between the reagent and the sorption method is that in the second case the process occurs in the loading of the filter. It is a set of micro-reactors. It is in these micro-reactors that the purification process takes place. Thus, its quality directly depends on the size of the micro-reactors.
The described features are due to the loading characteristics of ABECORB®. At the time of production, the granules of the sorption material are fired, thereby obtaining the necessary strength. In addition, they are absolutely harmless. Therefore, with the help of this material, not only purification of industrial wastewater, but also drinking water is carried out. In this case, the contaminated water is separated into a precipitate of hydroxides and water, which is sent for a second post-treatment.
Sorption is also used for cleaning galvanic eruptions. In this case, waste water is treated after reagent pre-treatment. Such purification of electroplating waste is often used in industrial plants. The use of AVESORB® filter media allows to purify sewage water to collection rates in fishery water reservoirs, or to organize reuse of water.
